Isabelle Jones-Capobianco, B.Ed. M.Ed.
Special Education Consultant
Isabelle Jones-Capobianco recently graduated from San Francisco State University in California with a Master’s degree in Special Education. She completed her undergraduate degree in Special Education at Université du Québec à Montréal, graduating in 2015. She is a member of the Association des Orthopédagogues du Québec (ADOQ). Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to acquire new pedagogical skills by doing four internships in elementary schools, including three in special education. Ms. Jones-Capobianco currently works as a special education consultant at an elementary school in Montreal and is particularly interested in reading-writing and mathematics difficulties of children from low socio economic backgrounds. In fact, her research for her final master’s project focused on reading disabilities among students from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
As a special education consultant, Ms. Jones-Capobianco assesses the particular situation of each student experiencing academic difficulties and offers various rehabilitation exercises to remedy them. She has also been offering tutoring on an individual basis for seven years, which allows for optimal student supervision and rapid progression. She also helps students with homework and exam preparation. Isabelle Jones-Capobianco has an excellent background in learning disabilities in children. She is passionate about rehabilitation and progression of her students, which leads her to be attentive to their needs and constantly looking for new ways to help them and ensure their success.
This special education consultant is recognized for her professionalism, positivism and effectiveness. In addition, she is perfectly bilingual and can therefore serve both French and English speaking clients.
