The approach advocated by the psychologist is psychodynamics. According to this approach, the problem and / or psychological distress arises from unconscious conflicts arising from past experiences. By becoming aware of these conflicts, the client comes to better understand why he is acting in such and such a way, why he feels this or that emotion and thus increases his freedom to act and think. Dr. Jones Cadieux offers the individual a space to explore his inner world in order to improve his psychological well-being. It offers psychotherapy through play for children and speech psychotherapy for teenagers and adults. Among the problems she deals with are depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, life transitions, anger, and so on.
